Brent joined Capital West in 2008. His prior experience includes more than a decade of technology company investment as a partner with an institutionally-backed venture capital fund. As a board member in portfolio companies, and a software entrepreneur, Brent developed an understanding of the challenges and rewards of the rapid growth technology companies experience.  He has specific knowledge and expertise in financing and acquisitions.

Brent received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
